Continued from: Dim Sum treats!

Thanks to BLOG2u *again* and National Heritage Board for the complimentary ticket for all the galleries in the National Museum of Singapore.

Munkey and I had covered Singapore Living Galleries - Film & Wayang, Food, Photography & Fashion previously during the museum’s open house. Hence, we only covered Singapore History Gallery and other featured exhibits this time.

A complimentary ticket to all the galleries, cool uh?

This is a multimedia handheld device. Press the buttons corresponding to the number displayed on the floor or exhibit, and you can listen to the explanations of the displays instead of reading from the board.

Some old time text books still in good condition.

I like this shot alot. The lighting has successfully created two shadows at the back.

Guess what the words are?

I found the museum is definitely more than artefacts and exhibitions. I some how like their arty displays of culture and heritage.

I like the road signs display, kind of arty.

The lighting in the museum is good as well.

I found the Chinese translation are all particularly good, like this one: 暴力暗杀的急流暗涌(毕麒麟险些丧命斧下)and in English, it is: Attack (An attempt on Pickering’s life). Chinese translation is more “colourful” than the English one.

More photos of the featured exhibits will be shown in the next post. Stay tune.

Oh ya, I met them today. But only they were on the stage, and I was sitting on the floor. Brought over my 18-200 lense for first test today, was not able to shoot without IS…. image wasn’t sharp enough, aperture also got some problem with 200mm…but still consider ok for a walk-around lense……well, back to topic.

This pic was done without much pp.

Thanks to BLOG2u *again* for allowing Munkey and I to participate the complimentary show at DIM SUM DOLLIES DAY OUT!.

The short performance is used as the teaser for Explore Singapore at National Museum of Singapore to attract more visitors to understand the heritage and rich history of Singapore.

Although we were late for 10 minutes, but still managed to catch part of their comical performances and laugh for another 15 minutes before the ending. See the trio caught a guy to tease him and make more fun for us.

With $3500 monthly salary to be a high class on-flight waitress, I think it is quite worth it to be “sg girl”.

Selena is always my favourite. Let’s see her funny expressions during the show.

Other than the show, we also got a chance to explore the museum.

Visited some interesting exhibitions, will show you more photos in the next post. Stay tune.

    维他命A
