For S$250,000 (NT5 million), we can only buy a 3 room flat (a flat is a government subsidised apartment) of about 1000 sq ft.

In general our private luxurious condo costs about close to S$1 million.. Very very expensive..

It's a very beautiful vacation home on the ocean front. I really like the views of overlooking the Green Bay and the recreation center. And the location is very close to metropolitan Taipei. The asking price is even so modest beyond my imagination. If I were staying in Taiwan for retirement I would snap it right up. Here I have four houses in different states, two are occupied as homestead and by my son in medical school, and the other two are used for occasional visits. I can't handle additional house without constant occupants in it.

I appreciate nice things just like most of everybodies. But I like to be able to take care of them myself.

Your luxurious condo is very desirable place. I wonder why not keep it as a retreat from the busy metropolitan life.
